Hurricane Helene

In October 2024, Hurricane Helene ripped through the southern United States, causing devastating damage in places like North Carolina and Tennessee. A storm like this hasn’t affected these parts in over 100 years. Many people lost everything. We aim to help those in need by providing funds through Convoy of Hope to pay for food, clothing, and shelter in these ravaged communities. Attached is a news story made shortly after the storm. Please take some time to watch and grasp the devastation.

I will participate in the Across the Years race on December 28, 2024. This 100-mile race is the farthest I will have ever run. While it will be challenging, I am confident that through disciplined preparation and training, I will complete this race. Every donation makes a difference. As little as $5 can provide a meal or item of clothing for a person in need. The sum of many small donations will go a long way towards reaching a larger goal. Please don’t feel obligated to give, but know that your generosity helps many who would otherwise suffer in silence as they attempt to Rebuild.

Giving FAQs

  • 80 percent of all donations will be donated directly to the current cause. 20% of donations will be reserved to cover the cost of operating FloraRuns.com. As this organization grows, we will do our best to decrease this number as much as possible.

    No funds will be given to Flora or any other individual as private compensation.

  • Upon completing your transaction, you will receive a confirmation email with the total amount donated and a link to view your receipt online.

  • Since this is the first cause, the number and frequency of causes we undertake will be determined by the success of the current one. If you want to be notified of future causes you may sign up for our newsletter on the home page.
